Why Us
Some of these cases must go before a judge first, so we explain what the court decides and what a bond can do afterward.

Questions
Yes, bail can be set in an Ohio domestic violence case. Some arrests must go before the court first, such as those involving a protection order, certain prior convictions, physical harm, a deadly weapon, or a credible threat of serious harm. We write the bond after the judge sets bail. An assault charge against a family or household member can fall under the same rule.
When setting bail, a judge looks at factors such as history of violence, past violations of court orders, access to weapons, and how severe the violence was. Someone still held must see a judge by the second court day after arrest. We do not give legal guidance or predict outcomes. We can explain how bail bonds work.
A court may add limits on contact with the alleged victim, travel limits, electronic monitoring, or an alcohol and drug assessment. Read every condition with the person you are helping, and ask us about probation violations if one is also involved.
The fee is 10% of the bond amount, along with court fees. Domestic violence bond fees of 10% are not returned. The amount comes from the court, and some arrests must go before a judge first. On a misdemeanor, the court may list other options besides a bond. Qualified customers can ask about payment plans. Ask for a domestic violence bond quote
