Questions
Yes, when the warrant or the court has set a bond amount. A bond does not clear a warrant. Tell us what you know about the charge when you call. A probation violation warrant may carry no bond.
If the warrant states an amount, our fee is based on that amount. If it states none, a judge decides bail when the person comes before the court, and our fee is based on that figure. Our how bail bonds work page covers the rest.
If a person does not appear after a summons, the court must issue a warrant. When a felony charge is filed, a warrant usually comes right away, and on a misdemeanor the court may issue a warrant or a summons. A felony bail bond starts from the amount a judge sets.
The fee is 10% of the bond amount, along with court fees. Warrant bond fees of 10% are not returned. The amount comes from the warrant or the court. We sometimes turn a bond down when a prior court date was missed. Qualified customers can ask about payment plans. Ask for a warrant bond quote
